Ex-Rangers kid Billy Gilmour could be in line for a special appearance in the European Super Cup Final after he trained with the Chelsea first-team.

The former Gers youngster was handed two pre-season outings for Frank Lampard's starters against Bohemians and St Pats but this evening's Liverpool clash would be a significant step-up for the 18-year-old.

Gilmour could deputise after he squared-off in practice against big-hitters like Willian, Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud.
