Ex-Rangers and Livingston goalkeeper Liam Kelly was penalty shootout king for QPR after helping his side into the next round of the Carabao Cup on his competitive debut.
The stopper kept Bristol City skipper Bailey Wright's spot-kick out to KO The Robins on Tuesday evening.
Both sides had played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at Loftus Road before the standoff loomed - with Kelly helping former Light Blues manager Mark Warburton's men into the second-round of the English League Cup.
Ex-Aberdeen and Gers defender Dominic Ball also played his role in the match, making his own full debut after signing from Rotherham United.
Lee Wallace is yet to star for the R's.
