Ex-Celtic star Darren O'Dea has laughed off suggestions that he had a hand in Josh McPake's loan move from Rangers to Dundee - claiming he's never even MET the youngster.
Reports had claimed that O'Dea played a vital role in orchestrating McPake's switch to Dens Park.
The 17-year-old put pen to paper on a six-month loan deal that will keep him in Dundee until January.

However in a social media post, O'Dea addressed the claims and insisted he's never watched McPake in action.
He joked: "Wish the boy the best and obviously wish Dundee the best but I have absolutely no idea where this has come from
"Never met him or seen him play."
Darren O'Dea, 32, played for Dundee for three years and even captained the side before leaving last season.
He has since enjoyed a coaching role at Motherwell and a short tenure as player at East Kilbride.
