Rangers will NOT be making a move for Ligue 1 striker Moussa Konate after being linked to the hit man.
Reports in France claimed Gers were set to swoop for the attacker, with a £9million bid reportedly being readied.
However it is now understood Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard will not make a move for the Senegalese ace.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard expects a bid to come in for Alfredo Morelos
The Scottish Sun are reporting that Gerrard has distanced himself and the club from rumours linking them to the player.
Striker Konate was the subject of interest from Burnley and West Ham last summer and it is believed Amiens would consider a bid as he's no longer first pick.
It comes as Gerrard admitted he expects a bid to be made for star man Alfredo Morelos.
Any move for players may well depend on such a deal happening with the Colombian - albeit Gerrard does not want to sell.
