Celtic star Boli Bolingoli was allegedly racially abused by fans in AIK during his side's Europa League win last night.

The Hoops defender celebrated with his teammates after a goal in their 4-1 win inside the Friends Arena.

Footage was broadcast on Celtic TV showing the players celebrating but audio from the clip was not removed.

And a fan, believed to be from the home section of support, is understood to have yelled racist insults at the player.

Celtic TV pulled the clip from their channels and apologised for bad language.

They wrote on Twitter: "Apologies for the bad language heard from the home fans in the previous video post. This video has now been removed."

But furious Celtic supporters were livid with the context of what is believed to have been shouted.

One blasted: "That's awful."

Another complained: "Scum b******. F*** racism."

One sniped: "Scumbags if that's really what's been said."

A fourth wrote: "Get this sent to UEFA please."

Celtic and UEFA have both been approached for comment.

It comes as ugly scenes marred the Hoops' win as supporters were battered by Swedish police with batons during the game.

Flares were also ignited among the away fans.
