Transfer deadline day can be a source of joy for supporters around the country when their heroes add another name to the squad list.

Celtic, this summer, have been very active.

The Hoops still hope to add one or two players.

Scott Brown says Celtic learned their lessons from Ibrox defeats to turn over Rangers

For some stars and kids, though, at Scotland's champs, newbies coming in makes it far more difficult for them to break into the first-team.

And before the window slams shut, it looks likely that they will ship a few names out the door.

Here we take a look at Celtic players who could leave Glasgow before the day is through.

Scott Sinclair

Englishman Sinclair's situation is a difficult one.

The player was terrific under Brendan Rodgers and scored a barrel load in his first season.

Even in his next, despite not playing every match, he still finished top scorer for the Hoops.

He has fallen out of favour at Parkhead and after Mohamed Elyounoussi signed from Southampton on loan, he's been pushed even further out the picture.

Preston were previously linked with a move for the wide man and this morning Sunderland have also been connected.

Jack Hendry

Jack Hendry has failed to hit anywhere close to the heights hoped for when he signed under Brendan Rodgers.

In fact it looks like his time at Parkhead is up.

Celtic backed into odds-on favourites to secure ten-in-a-row after Rangers win

It had been reported last week that the Hoops were hoping to use him as a makeweight to get their deal for Greg Taylor over the line - with Hendry going the other way.

That fact is yet to be confirmed however it may be that Hendry has played his final game for Celts.

Anthony Ralston

Defender Ralston, 20, looks set for a move to St Johnstone on loan.

We exclusively revealed the right-back was in talks with Saints as Tommy Wright looks to improve his squad.

Richard Foster left for Ross County after a bust-up with the boss and he now needs a right-sided defender.

Ralston fits the bill and will likely leave today.

Calvin Miller

The youngster has been linked with a move down south and, with League One and Two clubs in England still having time to play with, a move may be on the cards.

Sunderland and Portsmouth have both reportedly made enquiries about the winger-turned-left-back, but there has been no firm offers as of yet.
