Rangers loan star Josh McPake starts for Scotland under-19s this morning amid a battle with Ireland for his international allegiance.

McPake, 17, qualifies for Ireland through his grandmother and is believed to have held discussions with the FAI regarding a potential switch.

Scotland, though, have taken a step towards tying down the playmaker after calling him up for their 19s squad.
