Former Rangers defender Giovanni van Bronckhorst has accepted a backroom staff role with Manchester City, according to reports.
Gers legend van Bronckhorst left his role as Feyenoord boss last season and has been out of work since.
The 44-year-old was touted among the favourites for the Ibrox job before Steven Gerrard took the reins in Glasgow.
But now Dutch daily publication De Telegraaf claim he has began work in Manchester as part of his role with the City Group.
Van Bronckhorst will link up with another former Ranger, Mikel Arteta who is Pep Guardiola's assistant manager.
The Dutchman won five trophies at Ibrox during his time as a player under Dick Advocaat before he departed for Arsenal in 2001.
