An amateur Glasgow footballer and his own club have traded hilarious jabs after a failed panenka penalty saw his side knocked out of a cup competition.
Muirend Athletic, of the Scottish Amateur Football Association, ridiculed their striker Tam Fegan after his botched spot-kick saw them dumped from the Sunday Trophy by Newarthill.
Posting a clip of the sudden-death penalty, the club wrote: "Our absolute clown of a striker Tam Fegan trying a panenka penalty and subsequently putting us out of the Sunday Trophy..."

But, refusing to take it lying down, Fegan blasted back with a clip of UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
In a quote from UFC 205 - the event McGregor became a champion in two separate weight classes after defeating Eddie Alvarez - McGregor says: "I'd like to take this chance to apologise - to absolutely nobody.
"The double champ does what the f*** he wants."
The striker's brilliant response racked up hundreds of likes and shares.
The match finished 2-2 before heading to penalties - with Fegan scoring in normal time.
