Rangers and Aberdeen have both risen in UEFA's club coefficient - handing Scottish football a massive boost.
Steven Gerrard's men qualified for the Europa League group stages for the second season in a row and will now play Feyenoord, Young Boys and FC Porto.
The Dons meanwhile were knocked out of the tournament in the qualifying round by HNK Rijeka.

However their failure to make it to the Europa League proper has little bearing on their coefficient which has risen from last season.
In fact, Aberdeen managed to jump a whopping 40 places in the table from 192nd place to 152nd - now with 6.5 points.
Rangers, on the other hand, rose from 206th spot to 191st.
Scottish champions Celtic currently sit in 55th place with 24 points - falling from 47th.
Scotland as a nation are TOP of the point scale for the season among association club coefficient.
This takes their overall placing to 19th in the coefficient proper.
