Key Celtic star Jozo Simunovic looks set to miss this weekend’s Hamilton clash - and is a doubt for their Europa League opener against Rennes.
The defender has been missing from the starting XI with a knee issue.
Celts had hoped to add him back into the squad but, according to the Scottish Sun, the player is expected to undergo more tests on his injury before he can to star again.

Croatian Simunovic will definitely miss the Hamilton trip but it is believed he won’t be back in time for Rennes.
It adds to a string of injuries already facing Neil Lennon’s men.
Kris Ajer has been out for a number of weeks while Nir Bitton was forced off against Rangers with a hamstring pull.
It could mean Hatem Abd Elhamed starts in the centre while new Bhoy Moritz Bauer deputises at right-back.
Mikey Johnston is also out of this weekend’s Premiership match - but could be in contention for next week’s European tie.
