Celtic boss Neil Lennon has rubbished claims that he and Scott Brown had a fallout after the club were knocked out of the Champions League by Cluj.
Rumours surfaced in the wake of the dismal showing at Parkhead that the pair had a bust-up when Brown liked a tweet criticising the manager's tactics.
Lennon was slaughtered by sections of the support for opting to use Callum McGregor at left-back instead of his £3million signing Boli Bolingoli.
Brown, 34, apologised for accidentally liking a fan's post urging Lennon to take blame for the decision which saw his side beaten.
But now Lennon has scoffed at suggestions the duo fell out over the incident.
He said: "I don’t know where that’s come from at all.
"It’s nonsense, honestly. I can’t control the rumours.
"I love him and we have a great relationship, a strong bond with a huge amount of respect and it goes back a long, long way.
"I trust him and he trusts me. It’d take a lot for anything to come between that."
