The teen agreed to join Gers when he turns 16 in March next year.

Defender Lindsay replaced Willie Garrett in the clash against Ballyclare Comrades.

Rangers' signing from Sporting Lisbon announces arrival at Ibrox vowing 'I won't disappoint'

Speaking to BBC Sport Northern Ireland, the kid said: "I've been going to watch Glentoran since I was really young.

"I never could have thought that I would set the record as the youngest-ever player. It's brilliant."

Lindsay has already turned out for Rangers' academy squad in a handful of tournaments.

He starred as the Ibrox starlets won the junior Super Cup NI back in August.
