Rangers' Europa League opponents Feyenoord shipped two awful own goals in their side's final match preparation ahead of this week's Ibrox clash.

The Dutch outfit led comfortably after just 30 minutes thanks to two penalties and a slick strike following some intricate build-up play from their front men.

However at the other end a comical own goal from Edgar Ie was followed by a headed OG that would've been hailed had it been up the other end by Renato Tapia.

The first of the dodgy double came from a cross on the left-flank after not-so-convincing defending.

A decent delivery into the box was not attacked by any ADO Den Haag strikers but Ie, instead of clearing with his head, opted to go for the sensational.

His attempted overhead kick clearance was sliced and dribbled into the back of his own net to the chagrin of his teammates.

With eight minutes remaining on the clock, Den Haag smelled blood and fired in a hopeful free-kick.

Again the visitors barely had to show interest in the football when it was slotted home off the head of Tapia.

The woeful defending may be a cause for optimism for Rangers boss Steven Gerrard who - if he manages to spare a second to watch the footage - will no doubt spend some time on the training pitch allowing for set-piece practice.
