Dundee boss James McPake admits he's desperate for ex-Rangers star Graham Dorrans to join his side at Dens Park.
Dorrans was granted permission to leave Ibrox by Steven Gerrard on deadline day to allow the player the chance to find a new club.
The 32-year-old has been on the wanted list by Kilmarnock and Dundee.

Now the Dees manager has revealed he's waiting by the phone to hear from Dorrans - and he hopes to hear soon.
He told the Scottish Sun: "Is [Dorrans] worth waiting for?
"Absolutely. He’s a top player.
"More than that, I like him as a person and I like what he brings to football clubs. I know him very well.
"I will wait on a phone call and he will tell me what he’s thinking and then where he is going."
