Rangers fans have demanded the club recall on-form winger Jake Hastie after he scored a third goal in as many games for loan side Rotherham last weekend.

Former Motherwell star Hastie, 20, joined The Millers on a season-long loan deal from Gers earlier this summer.

And he's started his career in England's League One on fire, scoring against Doncaster, Bolton and Sunderland.

Hastie made two appearances for Steven Gerrard's first-team at Rangers before he was allowed to leave on a temporary switch.

But Light Blues fans have made their feelings abundantly clear that they want the youngster back and among the starters this season.

One fan said: "Announce recall."

Another added: "Should never have left in the first place."

One supporter commented: "Love this man!"

A fourth said: "Great to see."

Fans were responding to Rangers' official Twitter account who congratulated Hastie for netting in his third game on the bounce.

Some Rotherham fans even got in on the action and begged the Glasgow outfit to leave him be.

One laughed: "He’s awful you should definitely sell him (cheap) to rotherham to get the wages off your books.

"On a serious note thanks for loaning him to us".

Another added: "Don't ruin our League one promotion please".
