UEFA have confirmed that Rangers will pay tribute to late cult hero Fernando Ricksen before Thursday night's Europa League fixture with Feyenoord.
European football's governing body have granted permission for a minute's silence to be held before kick-off at Ibrox tomorrow night and the Rangers players will wear black armbands in the Ricksen's honour.
A UEFA spokesman said: "We can confirm that UEFA has accepted a request by Rangers FC to wear black armbands and hold a minute's silence before their UEFA Europa League group stage match with Feyenoord on 19 September in Glasgow."
Ricksen tragically passed away at the age of 43 on Wednesday morning after a prolonged battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
