RANGERS put a lot of effort into their Europa League win over Feyenoord last midweek and then were able to follow it up at St Johnstone on Sunday.
Having had to dig deep to see off Livingston in the Betfred Cup, it will take another battling showing when Aberdeen visit Ibrox.
The three games a week schedule can be difficult for teams but I liked Steven Gerrard’s line after the St Johnstone game as he reflected on a much improved performance in the second half up there.
It was nothing to do with heavy legs or being tired.

That is all in the head and people read about the hard game in Europe and think they will struggle in the league. That’s not the case.
Rangers got stronger as the game went on and they finished stronger.
And that has to be the case against Aberdeen now. This is one where it is all about the individual battles and you have to get the better of the man you are up against tomorrow.
It will take a big effort, but Rangers can produce that game after game domestically and in Europe.
