The manager was furious as Celtic were awarded a free-kick which was taken quickly leading to the leveller after a Kris Ajer own goal had given the hosts the lead.

Referee Kevin Clancy showed the Englishman a straight red card and he'll now watch the second 45 from the stands.

BT Sport commentator Chris Sutton said: "You can’t do that - he’s lost the plot.

"I understand the frustration but if he watches that back, he’ll be equally frustrated with his team for switching off.

"You can’t kick or throw bottles at officials. The referee’s got no choice."
