Chris Sutton aimed a swipe at Manchester United and Arsenal after yesterday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford - claiming they would struggle to finish ahead of Celtic and Rangers in Scotland.

The English Premier League giants played out a dull contest at Old Trafford in which the two goals were the only mark of any real quality in the 90 minutes.

Scotland star Scott McTominay scored a cracker from the edge of the penalty area before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang chipped over David De Gea to level proceedings.

Sutton sarcastically moaned: "Premier League football at it's very best tonight..."

But he was shot down by a supporter who sniped back: "They'd still beat Celtic and Rangers".

Never one to back down, Sutton bluntly replied: "Would struggle to finish in Scottish Prem top 2 on that showing..."

His post racked up thousands of likes and shares.

And plenty supporters had their say.
