Arsenal fans refused to hold back their fury at manager Unai Emery's decision not to bring Kieran Tierney into the starting XI against Manchester United last night.

The £25million defender didn't travel with the squad to Old Trafford as manager Unai Emery refuses to rush him back to action too soon.

Mark Hendry: Arsenal's Kieran Tierney is throwback in an era of badge-kissing and pandering - no wonder fans love him already

Supporters, though, appeared slightly more impatient with their boss and his decision.

And they blasted Tierney's omission as their side laboured to a dull 1-1 draw.

One moaned: "No Tierney no party."

Another added: "No Tierney and Holdini not starting, Emery come outside just wanna talk".

One commented: "WHERE IS TIERNEY".

A fourth wrote: "No Holding and Tierney. Banter defence".

Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay scored a stunner from the edge of the area to give his side the lead before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled with a delicious chip over David De Gea.

Tierney has been slowly returning to action from a thigh issue and hernia problem, though he's been training full-time for weeks.

He also made his debut for the first-team against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup and played for the under-23s against Wolves last month.
