Ex-Celtic star Mark Wilson has hailed Rangers captain James Tavernier as the best crosser of a ball in Scottish football.
Tavernier managed double figures assists last season and has already started this campaign terrifically going forward.
Gers fans were livid with their skipper's defensive frailties on Thursday evening as he was at fault for Young Boys' late winner in their Europa League clash in Switzerland.
But while he accepts the defender has looked questionable at the back, Wilson believes supporters are out of line to suggest his delivery is anything other than outstanding.
Discussing fan criticism of Tavernier, Wilson told Clyde SuperScoreboard: "There's not a better crosser of the ball in the Scottish Premiership than James Tavernier.
"He's an assist machine.
"The amount of assists that aren't converted, he puts it into such a dangerous area and it must be a dream for the likes of Morelos and Defoe."
