Ex-Celtic star Tony Watt has blasted a small section of Hoops fans who aimed abuse at Ryan Christie after he was sent off against Livingston yesterday.
Christie was shown a straight red card for a horror challenge on Scott Robinson.
The playmaker's uncharacteristic late tackle signalled defeat for Celts as they lost 2-0 to a very game Livi outfit.
Ryan Christie has been Celtic’s best player for a while. If you are giving him abuse for yesterday have a word with yourself. Same with Robertson last month. He’s a UCL WINNER, some football fans are maybe a bit spoilt 🤣👎🏻

Christie, though, was forced to delete his Twitter account following criticism from some Celtic fans.
But Watt has slammed the "spoiled" fans for their antics and furiously backed the Hoops star.
And he referenced similar abuse dished out to Andy Robertson last month after the Scotland captain gave away a penalty while playing for Liverpool in the Champions League against Napoli.
Posting on social media the CSKA Sofia striker said: "Ryan Christie has been Celtic’s best player for a while.
"If you are giving him abuse for yesterday have a word with yourself. Same with Robertson last month.
"He’s a UCL WINNER, some football fans are maybe a bit spoilt".
Watt's post earned hundreds of likes and shares.
