Gers midfielder Ryan Jack was forced to withdraw from the Scotland set-up early doors ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifier double header with Russia and San Marino.

The Light Blues star pulled out and was replaced by Declan Gallagher but it is not yet known how long Jack, 27, will be sidelined.

Other players forced to withdraw from the squad included Oli McBurnie and Grant Hanley.

However in terms of action, the likes of Celtic's Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor and James Forrest all put in a decent showing against San Marino.

Elsewhere, for Rangers, Joe Aribo scored a terrific opener for Nigeria in their 1-1 draw with Brazil.

The midfielder danced his way past two defenders before slotting coolly past Ederson.

Borna Barisic managed two consecutive 90 minutes' against Wales and Hungary respectively while Steven Davis played against Holland and looks set to feature for Northern Ireland again this evening against Czech Republic.
