Kevin Clancy will referee his first game since his controversial performance in Celtic's draw with Hibs at Easter Road.
The whistler refused to give the Hoops two penalties before he opted not to send off Olivier Ntcham in a game where he also sent off home boss Paul Heckingbottom.
A week later he was not involved in any SPFL matches.
Referee Kevin Clancy left out of Premiership fixtures after Hibs vs Celtic
Despite being out of the firing line, he will now be thrown straight back into the limelight at Tynecastle in the middle for Hearts against Rangers.
Don Robertson takes charge of Celtic vs Ross County at Parkhead on Saturday.
Meanwhile Steven McLean is in charge of Kilmarnock for the first time since then-Killie manager Steve Clarke slaughtered him for the "worst refereeing performance" he'd ever seen back last season.
