Leigh Griffiths joined his Celtic teammates in training earlier today before the Scottish champions jetted out to Rome for tomorrow evening's Lazio clash.

Griffiths hasn't featured in green and white since August 25 and has only played eight times in all competitions.

Social media rumours had been running rampant earlier this season that Griffiths had been left out of Neil Lennon's squad for more sinister reasons.

However these were quashed when Lenny revealed the striker had been carrying a thigh injury.

Earlier before the players set their course for Rome, Griffiths took part in a full session at Celtic Park.

The Hoops currently sit top of Group E in their Europa League after the reverse finished 2-1 in their favour.

Christopher Jullien scored a late winner after Ryan Christie had levelled a Manuel Lazzari strike.
