JACK ROSS has been appointed as the new Hibernian manager after signing a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Edinburgh club.
The former St Mirren boss has been brought in following the sacking of Paul Heckingbottom last week after a poor start to the campaign.
Heckingbottom brought in ten new players over summer in a club overhaul in an effort to rejuvenate the squad, but the lack of good results cost him the job.

The club only won one league match with him as manager and he was axed after losing 5-2 to Celtic in the Betfred Cup semi-final.
Ross was named PFA Manager of the Year in 2018 after helping St Mirren with the Championship.
The 43-year-old will have his first official match as manager next weekend when Hibs take on Motherwell at Easter Road.
