ODSONNE EDOUARD'S impressive form for France under-21s continued on Friday as the Celtic striker converted a late penalty to seal a 3-2 win over Georgia Euro 2021 qualifiers.
Lyon winger Jeff Reine-Adelaide scored either side of half-time to give the hosts a two-goal advantage, only for Georgia to score two goals in three minutes to level the scores. Giorgi Kokhreidze pulled one back around the hour-mark and minutes later, Khvicha Kvaratshkelia levelled the scores.
With the clock winding down, France were then awarded a penalty in stoppage time through goalkeeper Luka Gugeshashvili's error. With 92 minutes played, Edouard stepped up and conbverted the spot-kick to maintain France's winning start to the qualifying campaign.
