Celtic are keeping tabs on Scott McTominay's situation with Manchester United prepared for the midfielder to go out on a possible loan move before the closure of the transfer window. The 22-year-old Scotland internationalist is contracted at Old Trafford until 2021 but could be allowed to head out for first-team football. That, however, could hinge on whether or not Marouane Fellaini stays with the Premier League side. McTominay has been capped five times for Scotland but so far has made just eight first-team appearances for Manchester United this season. A number of clubs were rebuffed in their attempts to take the player on loan in the summer window although it appears that he may be set to go now, although a conclusive call has yet to be made by United.
