CELTIC are to receive the majority of tickets for their William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.

Allocation has been a controversial subject when these two sides have met previously in finals with the Parkhead club unhappy having to accept a 50/50 split - especially when there have been empty seats in the Aberdeen end.

But this time, the defending champions could have as many as 30,000 of their own supporters inside Hampden to watch their team try to progress to another final.

Celtic and Aberdeen will play on Sunday, April 14 with a 2pm kick-off.

Hearts and Inverness Caledonian Thistle will also play at the national stadium - there had been some suggestions of moving the game to a smaller venue. Their semi-final goes ahead on the Saturday, April 13, with a 12.25pm kick-off.

Both matches will be shown live on Premier Sports.

The four clubs involved will meet the SFA tomorrow (Thursday) to iron out the final issues but we understand that, for once, all parties are satisfied with the outcome.

The final allocation will be revealed by the SFA after the meeting.

The SFA's ticket pricing will be welcome by fans. Tickets cost: North and William Hill South Stands - Adults: £30 Concessions £15. East and West Stands - Adults: £20 Concessions: £10.
