Andrew Robertson has been hilariously roasted by Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane who claimed the left-back played “very bad” without him.

Robertson started for this Reds in the Community Shield final against Man City on Sunday where they drew 1-1 only to lose out later out on penalties.

Scotland captain Robertson played the full 90 minutes but Senegal attacker Mane poked fun at his teammate for a “bad” performance at Wembley - because he didn’t have his pal to back him up.

Walking into Melwood training ground yesterday, Mane let his mate know what he thought, laughing: “Hey Robbo, yesterday you played very bad.

“Without me because I always help you.”

Robertson, though, took the jibe in good spirits, jokingly told Mane to “shut up”.

The video, from Liverpool’s YouTube channel, was shared on social media and had punters loving the camaraderie between the Liverpool squad ahead of the new season.
