ALLAN MCGREGOR Left exposed by his defence as Miller made it 1-0 but then made a crucial stop from his former Ibrox team-mate at 1-1. Didn’t have many saves to make but was a vocal presence as he tried to encourage Rangers going forward. 7

JAMES TAVERNIER Had plenty of attacking threat in the first half as he combined well with those ahead of them and got forward with intent. Wasn’t as influential in the second half as Rangers struggled. 7

CONNOR GOLDSON Has to take the blame for Miller’s opener as he failed to clear the danger on the edge of the box. Recovered from his shaky start and wasn’t tested as often as Dundee would have hoped. 5

JOE WORRALL Recalled to the starting line-up but hasn’t exactly staked his claim for a jersey for Vienna. Didn’t cover himself in glory in the build up to the first goal as he never won the initial header or dealt with Miller. 5

ANDY HALLIDAY Has stronger competition for the left-back berth now that Borna Barisic is fit but it will be tough for Gerrard to drop him. Superb strike for the equaliser was his most telling contribution but stuck to the task defensively and didn’t let his side down. 7

JORDAN ROSSITER Handed a rare start as he partnered Jack in the middle of the park and turned in an impressive showing. Covered a lot of ground and was a real driving force for the Gers. Got an hour under his belt. 7

RYAN JACK Job as the holder in midfield was made easier after Dundee were reduced to ten men but he still performed well. Put himself about but had to be careful not to see red. 6

DANIEL CANDEIAS Started on the right of the three attacking midfielders but popped up across the forward line as he once again put in a real shift but a series of crosses came to nothing. Couldn’t unlock the Dundee defence. 6

RYAN KENT Winger has been a big miss in recent weeks and he returned from his injury lay-off to take up a central role behind Lafferty. Always looked threatening in the first half as he made smart runs and found space for himself but didn’t reappear after the break. 6

EROS GREZDA Made some good runs and showed some nice touches as Rangers saw plenty of the ball in the first half. Faded as the game went on and had little impression as he quickly began to toil. 5

KYLE LAFFERTY This was a big afternoon for the Ulsterman as Alfredo Morelos started his two game Premiership ban. Looked determined to make the most of his chance and was wrongly denied by the offside flag in the first half. Not as effective after the break and offered almost no threat at all. 5

Substitutes:

GLENN MIDDLETON (for Kent) On at the break as he took up a spot wide on the left and the youngster started brightly. No little effort but crossing wasn’t up to scratch at times. 5

BORNA BARISIC (for Rossiter) Tried to play his part in the final third as Rangers pushed. A solid showing on his return to the team. 5

OVIE EJARIA (for Halliday) The final throw of the dice by Gerrard as he tried to inject a bit of spark into the midfield. It didn’t come from the Liverpool kid. 3
