COWDENBEATH have asked for volunteers to help their Scottish Cup clash with Rangers beat the winter weather.
Gary Bollan’s side are set to host the Light Blues on Friday night.
But forecasts predict that temperatures will fall below zero in the build-up to the fourth round fixture.
A Blue Brazil spokesman said: “We have been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast ahead of the Scottish Cup game versus Rangers and have decided to put the pitch covers down to protect the pitch against frost. We are asking for volunteers to come along & assist the club at 1pm on Wednesday afternoon.”
