IT had to be Jordan Jones scoring the winner against Rangers, didn’t it? There was nothing surer.
I have to say a big well done to Steve Clarke, because it would have been the easiest thing in the world to put him on the bench and keep him out of the spotlight, but he had confidence in his player.
And let’s not forget, for now, he is Kilmarnock’s player, and he won’t be a Rangers player until the season finishes, so it only right that he does his absolute best for the team that pays his wages.
It might well have broken his heart to score the winner against Rangers, but that’s his job, and good on him for being so professional.
Rangers supporters shouldn’t hold any grudges over the goal, and I’m sure all will be forgiven when he sticks his first goal away for the club.
