ALLAN MCGREGOR Keeper had little to do in the first half as Hibernian rarely threatened. Called into action shortly after the break as he made a terrific block from Horgan and then saved McNulty’s follow-up. Left exposed by his defence as Kamberi made it 1-1 and was furious with those in front of him. 7

JAMES TAVERNIER Looked comfortable defensively as he handled a tame Hibs attack well and got forward at will in the first half. Involved in an incident on the whistle as a home fan came out of the stand and confronted him on the touchline. Will be frustrated at how the second half panned out. 7

CONNOR GOLDSON Hibs couldn’t really test him in the first 45 minutes as he and Worrall looked steady at the back. Had to receive treatment for a knock and picked up a booking for a foul on McNulty. Had to take some blame for the equaliser as the offside trap failed. 6

JOE WORRALL Defender earned high praise from boss Gerrard after the game at Pittodrie and he picked up where he left off with a solid showing here. Once again, he was the better of the Gers centre-halves. 7

ANDY HALLIDAY Returned to the starting line-up in place of Borna Barisic. Good defensively in the first half and could have done better at the other end as he fired over from inside the area. Won’t be happy with his part in Kamberi’s goal as Hibs got in behind. Hit the bar with an injury-time free-kick. 7

RYAN JACK Gave Rangers a huge pre-match boost as he recovered from a foot knock and he helped Gerrard’s side control proceedings in the first half. Involved in a brief altercation with Omeonga but certainly had the better of his midfield rival. 7

GLEN KAMARA The midfielder is a flashy or flamboyant performer, but he is certainly effective. Rangers dominated the middle of the park from the start and Kamara was at the heart of that impressive effort. Can be pleased with his efforts once again. 8

SCOTT ARFIELD Will wonder how he didn’t open the scoring as he came close on a number of occasions and he caused Hibs real problems as he found time and space on the ball. Was decent after the break as well and could have scored just before being replaced with 12 minutes remaining. 7

DANIEL CANDEIAS Portuguese got into a number of promising positions but didn’t always make the most of them as a couple of crosses went astray. Made up for it with a superb curling finish as the Gers finally broke the deadlock just before the break. 7

RYAN KENT Was dangerous every time he got on the ball and was denied by a smart Marciano save midway through the first half. Couldn’t have as much influence after the break. 7

ALFREDO MORELOS Striker received a warm welcome from the away support after signing a new four-year deal on Friday morning. Didn’t get a lot of service early on but tested Marciano from a tight angle and saw a long-range drive blocked. Became frustrated as the game turned away from Rangers. 7

Substitutes:

JERMAIN DEFOE (for Arfield) On for the final 12 minutes as Rangers went in search of a winner. 3
