THE Scottish FA will hear Alfredo Morelos' appeal against his Cup suspension on Friday morning.
The striker was booked in the first half of Rangers' quarter-final replay defeat to Aberdeen this week after Kevin Clancy ruled that he had dived under pressure from Andrew Considine.
The yellow card meant that Morelos, who was cautioned for simulation in the first game at Pittodrie, would have missed the semi-final with Celtic if Rangers had reached Hampden.
But a 2-0 defeat denied Steven Gerrard's side a last four berth as the Dons ended their Hampden dreams for the second time this season.
Rangers launched an appeal in a bid to overturn the booking and clear Morelos' name and the hearing will be heard tomorrow.
Even if it is unsuccessful, Morelos will still be able to play in the Premiership clash with Kilmarnock on Saturday.
