Hearts under fire for video flogging commemorative toy buses for £79

The Jambos brought out 500 buses on Monday to commemorate the 1998 Scottish Cup win, but the steep price tag has left supporters supporters gobsmacked. 

The description on the club's website says: "Heart of Midlothian Football Club players,coaches, supporters and all connected with the marvellous club will long remember the incredible scenes of celebration following their Scottish Cup win over Rangers in May 1998.

"Edinburgh was a sea of maroon as more than 200.000 people took part in a massive street party. More than 15,000 crammed into Tynecastle to watch the team parade the cup around the ground.

"The celebrating players and coaching staff arrived at the ground in an open-top bus having toured through the streets paved with celebrating fans dressed in maroon.

"Relive the moment with your very own Limited Edition Heart of Midlothian FC Parade Bus."

But fans of the Gorgie club are less than impressed and supporters of rivals Hibernian were also quick to pounce.

Having bought the recent greatest team shirt at £79 (which is fantastic by the way), this one is taking the proverbial. Still if it sells good luck but that price is an embarrassment to be honest
