Popular ice-cream parlour chain Big Licks has announced its west end branch has closed as it prepares to move to a bigger location.
The chain - which also has a busy branch in Victoria Road - said yesterday the new shop will be the flagship.

Big Licks is renowned for its extensive ice-cream and dessert menu - including waffles, crepes, doughnuts, and milkshakes - which also infuses traditional Indian desserts.

A spokesperson for the Argyle Street shop said the new flagship branch is only a few minutes away on Finnieston Street, adding: “Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at the end of September.”
Eager Big Licks fans can still head to the Southside branch which is open seven days a week from 3pm to 11pm.
