AMERICAN singer and actress Cher has criticised Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage for campaigning for Brexit.
In a series of Tweets the Goddess of Pop accused politicians of playing "Brexit dominos" and damaging the UK economy, as well as calling into question their capacity to govern.

The Believe singer then praised the British people as strong, referencing the nation's resolve in World War II.

The singer's remarks on the economy may be well founded, with Chancellor George Osborne today admitting the country is unlikley to hit its target of running a budget surplus by 2020.
Cher isn't the only high-profile entertainer to weigh in on Britain's EU vote. Hollywood star Ewan McGregor yesterday caused an online storm with an expletive-ridden rant against Boris Johnson following the Brexiteer withdrawing from the Tory leadership race.
