Housing bosses transforming one of Glasgow's most famous buildings have launched a £1million search for an architect.
The bid is the next step in the new chapter for the Victoria Infirmary, which was bought over earlier this month by Sanctuary Group.
Social housing bosses are offering a £1m contract to the winning architectural firm that will draw up plans for 400 homes on the four hectare Battlefield site.
Peter Martin, Sanctuary Group’s director of development, said: “The successful architect will need to demonstrate they are capable of delivering residential projects of this size and scale.

“Potential architects should show their ability to incorporate existing buildings, in line with our plans for this highly prestigious site.”
Hundreds of new homes are expected for the site and will be a mix of mid-market rent and sale.
Part of the hospital is B-listed and bosses have expressed a preference that any development will respect historical features of the building, which dates from 1890.
Applications must be made to Sanctuary Group by noon on September 16.
