Time to get the sun cream out, shorts on, and freezer stocked with plenty of ice cubes as Glasgow is set to sizzle in the sun - with the city set to be hotter than Barcelona this week.
According to the Met Office, Thursday is set to be dry with plenty of very warm sunshine developing with just a touch of patchy cloud, meaning blue skies galore.
It will become hot inland during the afternoon, especially across Greater Glasgow and down the Clyde valley with the mercury hitting a whopping 26C in some parts with just a light wind.
The outlook on Friday looks set to be just as positive; fine and settled all day with some very hot spells of sunshine, although notably humid by night, so get the fan at the ready.

With the mercury in Barcelona hitting 23C, Glasgow’s will near 25C, making it hotter here than in the Spanish city.
The news comes just two weeks after Glasgow enjoyed some of the hottest weather of the year so far.
