THREE men have been arrested following the death of a popular Ibrox man.

Police Scotland confirmed today that the three men, aged 18, 20 and 30 were arrested in connection with the death of James Watt.

We previously reported a probe was launched by city detectives after James, 40, was found dead in a flat on Copland Quadrant on Friday, February 23.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that three men, aged 18, 20 and 30 have been arrested in connection with the death of James Watt in Copland Quadrant, Ibrox on Friday 23 February 2018."

Previously, the community of Ibrox was in mourning after the death as tributes poured in for James who was also known as Scudger.

Football scarves and flowers were among the tributes to the popular man who was described as a “lovely boy” with a “heart of gold”.
