POLICE have declared a fire which tore through a Balornock construction site as wilful.
Detectives are appealing for information following the fire-raising yesterday, which has resulted in a six figure sum worth of damage.
As previously reported, around 7.30pm police were called to a report of a fire at the site in Wallacewell Quadrant.
Emergency services attended and following a joint investigation between police and fire services the incident is being treated as wilful.

Detective Constable Gillian Paddon from Shettleston CID said: “Extensive damage has been caused to the site where new homes were being built for the area and it is absolutely imperative that we trace whoever is responsible for this reckless and dangerous crime.
“I would appeal to anyone who noticed any person or people acting suspiciously in the area of Wallacewell Quadrant yesterday evening to please come forward.
