SINGING sensation Sam Smith has wrapped up his two-night stint in Glasgow with nothing but admiration for the city.

He was also left awestruck with one fan in the crowd at the SSE Hydro on Saturday night.

Sharing an image of the girl on Instagram - and praising the city - the 25-year-old crooner wrote: “Glasgow. My heart is yours. I feel so alive and so overwhelmed after the last few nights. Thank you so much for giving us your all. I can’t wait to sing for you all again.

“P.S. the girl in the centre of this picture took my breath away tonight. You knew every single word & I could feel your love and support throughout the show. I love you whoever you may be xxxxxxxx.”

The Evening Times previously reported how the singer said he was left feeling “emotional” after the SSE Hydro pulled off a spectacular stunt in his honour.

The venue showed off rainbow colours on its building, a symbol of pride among the LGBTQ+ community.

The hitmaker, who is dating 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn, shared an image of the building all lit up on social media and beamed: “I can’t believe the SSE Hydro did this. Has made me so emotional.”

Sam embarked on his 2018 UK arena tour 0 his biggest headline shows to date - in Sheffield on Tuesday before hitting Glasgow on Friday and Saturday.

He then moves onto Manchester, Dublin and Birmingham, concluding with two dates in London’s The O2.
