Viral sensation Denise Ferrie has appeared for the first time in front of a Glasgow audience.

The Coatbridge woman, who became an internet hit after singing My Boy Lollipop at her mother's graveside, performed at Bar Budda in Sauchiehall Street on Sunday evening.

The moment was shared by the city boozer and has received over half a million views so far on Facebook.

Fans also went crazy to watch her perform again.

Cameron Oswald said: "She’s just being herself. Love how people criticise. Maybe it’s because your life is shit you need to sit and judge. Love it."

Hazel MacDonald added: "This is why I love being Scottish. Making the best of shitty situation! She’s not doing any harm and spreading a little joy!."

The Evening Times was first to report on how social media users had overwhelmingly responded to Denise's unique tribute at a funeral.

It shows her standing at a graveside in what is believed to be Coltswood Cemetery in Coatbridge.

Looking up to the sky, while surrounded by other loved ones, she breaks into Millie Small’s 1965 hit My Boy Lollipop in a distinctively Scottish style.

She is also a known rapper among pals and is called ‘Slim’.
