The Evening Times previously reported how Glasgow Central Station has enforced a strict booze ban to prevent another Troon Beach incident like last year as extra police on horses are deployed to the area.

Warnings have been placed throughout the station as crowds have been flocking to Ayrshire to enjoy the warm weather.

The crackdown comes after the beach was invaded by thousands of young people as Scotland enjoyed good weather last July.
