Pretty Green in Glasgow has relaunched and to celebrate Dundee rockers The View performed in-store.

I had a look inside the Buchanan Street store this week and I have to say I was pretty impressed.

Glasgow Times:

Liam Gallagher to me anyway is the most stylish man on the planet and anything he does is brilliant in my eyes - but maybe I am a bit biased being a fan of his music.

His clothes are just so stylish and if I was a man, I would definately be rocking that 60s mod look. It never goes out of style.

The store has amazingly added a stage to its top level so that they can have more performances - and this concept is just brilliant.

Glasgow is a music city and the fact a major brand has recognised this in their store speaks volumes. I can't wait to see what else they have lined-up.

Maybe a wee Liam Gallagher acoustic set next? One can dream.

The new-look store is opened now and you can read my interview with The View here

The weekend starts right here:

Glasgow Times:

Listen: Richard Ashcroft's This Is How It Feels

My Monday was made by the return of former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft. The singer released a new single This Is How It Feels - and I love it. I am just so happy he is back because he is a big talent in my eyes. I have saw him live as a solo artist and with The Verve, and he never disappointed. One of my Twitter followers said, "He is a bit depressing".I can take that but music is about making you feel emotion, and that is what Ashcroft does. Can we have some tour dates now please?

Watch: Vinyl

Glasgow Times:

I am obsessed with Vinyl. I had the chance to watch the pilot this week and it was brilliant. Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger are behind the show which really has a 70s feel to it. The music, the story and the fashion had me glued from the start and I think this show could be one of my new favourites. Bobby Cannavale plays Richie Finestra who is a record executive in the 1970s. The show focuses on the music industry and even features Jagger's son James as a drug using musician. Give it a watch and see what you think.

Trailer is here and you can see Vinyl on Sky Atlantic, Monday at 10pm.
