Glasgow has a new sweet edition and I'm lovin' it. Deesserts, with an extra e, has taken up a prime spot on Sauchiehall Street offering every type of sweet treat you can think of.

I went with my friend and goddaughter this week, and we could not believe the choice. I think Glasgow has lacked a good place for desserts particulary in the city centre and this is a fantastic edition.

Glasgow Times:

We opted for a hot cookie covered in Smarties and smothered in hot Nutella with ice-cream on the side. It was delicious.

Definitely worth a visit when you are in the mood for a sweet treat.

The weekend starts right here:

Buy: T in the Park tickets

Last week, I was invited to the T in the Park launch party and I missed it - by accident of course. You see I had two events on the night and when I received the invite I was convinced the party was taking place in St Jude's in Bath Street. So I made my way there to be met by a confused bouncer who said he had no clue what I was talking about. No wonder, the party was in the East End's St Luke's. This is a sign I am getting old. I therefore had to admit defeat as I had another party in the city centre and I would have missed that also if I had travelled out of town. Oh the drama!

To make matters worse my favourite singer Paolo Nutini was at the event and it is fair to say I am gutted I missed it.

On the bright side though I hopefully won't miss this year's T in the Park. I am more of a day trip kind of festival gal - camping has never appealed to me and I can't wait to head up to Strathallan Castle. I am particularly excited about the Friday line-up. The Stone Roses and The Courteeners are two of my favourites, and I can't wait to see them. Get your tickets now and invest in great summer memories. Have you ever left T in the Park without a story to tell? Tickets and more information available here

Eat: Breakfast at Juice Garden

I know I started talking about desserts but I am trying to get into summer body mode with more healthy eating. I went a wander round the West End on Sunday and popped into one of my favourites Juice Garden. The healthy eatery also has a restaurant in Renfield Street in the city centre. This visit, I opted for an acai bowl and it is amazing. Mine is topped with granola, blueberries and coconut shavings. Yum! It is the first time I tried an acai bowl and I would recommend it. It just has a feel good factor about it. More details on Juice Garden here

Catch-up: Outlander

During my visit to Juice Garden, I had a fangirl moment with my mum after spotting Scottish actor Richard Rankin. Now a lot of you might not be familiar with the Rutherglen-born actor but he has been cast in Outlander which is huge.

I am a big fan of the show which I got into because of my job. I watched the first episode and before I knew it - I was hooked.

I love that the show is set in Scotland and has shone the spotlight on great Scottish talent. But it annoys me very few people have watched it in Scotland.

Glasgow Times:

Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser in the Starz series, is huge in America and I believe the same fate will follow for Richard who has been cast as Roger Wakefield.

Series 2 is due to kick off on April 9 and anyone in the UK can watch the show via Amazon Prime.

Check out the season 2 trailer and do a binge catch-up before it starts next month. You won't regret it...I promise.
