LEE WALLACE reckons Rangers are laying solid foundations in the Premiership this season.

It has been a mixed start to the campaign for Pedro Caixinha’s side as they have followed up their opening day win over Motherwell with a double disappointment against Hibernian and Hearts and crucial win over Ross County.

Wallace set up striker Eduardo Herrera for the third goal against the Staggies as he got off and running in Light Blue.

“I am always trying to help the team in whatever way possible, whether that is an assist or, more importantly, trying to stop goals,” Wallace told RangersTV.

“The games aren’t quite as open, the back four or centre-backs aren’t being as isolated as they maybe have been in recent years.

“I am always happy to [help] in whatever way I can.

“Bruno [Alves] has found me well down the left hand side and I have been able to play Eduardo in and I am happy for the big man that he has got a goal.”
