Police Scotland have launched an appeal for information to help trace Maryhill man David Johnstone. 

Mr Johnstone, 56, was last seen in Bilsland Drive, Possilpark, around 4pm on the Tuesday, March 5, 2019. 

Mr Johnstone is described as white, 5ft4 in height, of slim build and has receding hair.

Sergeant Wendy Conway, Maryhill Police Office, said: "David has never been missing before so to be out of contact with family or friends for this length of time is concerning.

"He was reported missing to police by a friend on Monday, March 11, and since then officers have been checking CCTV and making enquires in Maryhill and Possilpark where he visits but so far no one has seen or heard from him.

"He requires to take medication which we don't believe he has with him and we also don't think he has any money with him.

"If anyone knows where David is, then please contact Maryhill Police Office via 101 quoting reference number 1477 of the March 11 2019."
